Sampson
"Hi
Carolyn
We
made the decision to say goodbye to Sam last night. He went very
peacefully and I feel like we made the right choice. He wasn’t himself
this past Sat night and Sunday and I didn’t want to have his pain and
discomfort linger any longer. He was a remarkable dog and will always be
one of the greats. I can’t thank you enough for all the love, care and
support you showed him over the past few years. And to think that when you
first started to massage him we thought he wasn’t going to last that much
longer and that was what 3+years ago I think. He so looked forward to you
coming and spending your time with him. The minute I put his bed in his
“massage spot” you could see that he knew you were coming to see him.
The massages and time you spent with him is one of the main reasons he did have
such a long and fairly healthy senior life. Please keep in touch and let
us know what’s going on in your life. I’m sure I’ll be calling on
you for Cooper in a few years as he ages as well.
Thank
you again for all that you did for him.

Buddy
I'm sorry to say Bud
has passed away. We miss him very much..
"Carolyn, I wanted to tell you how much I appreciated
everything you did for my pal Bud the last year of his life. I am so glad I
found you at the dog walk. I had tried medication for his stiffness and pain,
but it made him sick. I had no idea what else I could do to make him more
comfortable. You remember how difficult it was for him to get around,
especially up the two flights of stairs to my apartment.
His response to the therapy was amazing, and oh, he
loved it! It was a joy to see how quickly Bud connected with you through your
voice and touch. It usually took a while for Bud to pick his friends, but not
with you. By the end of the week after his first therapy session, I could see
a reduction in his stiffness and pain. He became more willing to go up and
down the stairs, did not favor the right hind leg as much and seemed happier.
As his sessions continued he got better and better. His range of movement with
NO pain was greatly improved. He felt so good. He was ready to play with his
toys, which had lain neglected in his basket. Once again he was enthusiastic
about a walk in the woods and even enjoyed running a little. He hadn't done
that in years.
I believe the quality of his life was greatly improved and
time he had left was extended due to the therapy he received from you. Thank
you for that extra, happy time I had with Bud.

Abbott

Abbott has passed
away. Abbott had kidney disease and was almost 17 years old! Abbott
was a practice dog at the school for canine massage and will be remembered for
proving the truly significant benefits of massage not only for the physical but
for the emotional well being of dog AND owner.

George
George
lost his battle to cancer on October 15th. He was 15 years old. We miss him terribly but
his spirit lives on in everything we do to help animals. He was a
beautiful cat and always had a kind purr to say.
